This game is good. The only thing missing is letting us craft potions, i mean we get mushrooms and such its gonna be a shame if theres nothing that we can craft with it

To progress fast you need to touch grass.

My main issue is I live in a very small desolate area where all the 'big' gathering nodes (and how few of them exist in theses areas) are cluster together and as such always end up being the same gathering node type, which leaves me hoping that the biome/map rotation changes frequently enough that I can hit the nodes when I can as they cycle between forest, swamp, and desert. On my work days I can hit like 4 extra big nodes (again so close together they all end up the same node type) where as my days off I get maybe 6 at best. I kinda wish the access range (which can be extended with the wander items) was naturally bigger for the area I live as all the monsters tend to spawn a good 30 min to an hour away with maybe a single monster occasionally spawning in the area around my home

You need to be up to 200m within proximity to hunt cooperatively.

I'm reminded me of the Stories 2 beta, with people deliberately holding off on the final Anjanath fight so they could harvest as much money and resources as they could for the main update, no doubt greatly disturbing Kayna as she watched her promising pupil ruthlessly plunder their island paradise.

I would recommend driving your bike at low speed. You get way farther than by foot and you are not too fast to gtet punished by the game for doing so. Its just great.

Longsword actually can get very high dps without counters

You can use helm splitter by activating iai slash, landing it refills most of the gauge it took. No parrying required

There are also far less aerial hit boxes

The counter only gets you a single(admittedly high MV) bonus hit

On the subject of quest rewards, it seems it's all RNG. I believe you get a fixed amount of materials, with maybe a bonus few if you get a good time score, and you get one extra material for each part break. The materials obtained from breaking parts come from the same pool as the basic rewards, so there's no need to target the tail for tails, for example. Every roll for a material has the same odds for the monster's star level, so you just get more rewards overall and reduce the number of monsters fought.

TLDR: aim for the highest number of part breaks, just whichever is easier to break. Hammer users aren't missing anything on sever-only parts and vice versa.

Im loving all monster hunter capcom parts of the game. And I also hate with all my soul all the niantic parts, and yes, I mean the shop and progression walls they put intentionally. You can literally feel how both companies negotiated, capcom implementing the idea of hp and potions as energy, the use of paintballs to let the player fight a challenging monster when at home, with more focus... and niantic of course setting barriers to progression and absurd prices that even people with lots of money just refuse for how crazy it is. The game is great cause of capcom, and it would have been better without a mobile game company; they are just the worst of the videogame industry

Really enjoying the game, but surprised there isn't a mechanic which rewards your for walking like hatching eggs in pokemon Go. Seems like they could implement an expedition system to MH Now where you send out palicoes which return after X amount of Km walked with resources.

This game makes me appreciate having a giant park across the street from my house. In a city, and if my city isn't big enough I'm about 10 minutes outside of Charlotte.

#INF zenny? How? Did I miss it, or just click bait?

I like the game, but I live in a rural area, so no matter what I have to go on hour long walks to get to each gathering node. It’s basically required to spoof location if you live anywhere on a dead end road. Living in a high density city also makes the game 10x easier as monsters spawn based on road location. And I don’t want to walk on my hillbilly ass streets.

the game's so good except
1. can't craft the potions
2. hard to contact friends and others players in game

One thing I'd correct is, breaking specific monster parts does NOT work like in mainline games. All it does is grant you 1 or 2 more RNG drops. This according to what I've learned from the forums and out of game groups. Everything is RNG in this game. Would suggest to break as many parts as possible, but specific part doesn't guarantee or raise drop rate of said part.

Be nice if we got something for leveling up.. :/
Resources (like Dragonite ore etc.) or even more paintballs would be nice.

Thanks for the info, but I was actually hoping for a video of the tips of the weapons mechanics. More than just tapping the screen for basic attack ya know?
