For us older guy's who grew up in the 70's, being told to eat lot's of animal protein, it's great to hear and learn that plant based, predominantly fruit is adequate and healthier, especially for us older guy's who want to retain our muscle mass. I’ve been a vegan almost raw for the animals, earth and my health for over 10 years.

One thing I’ve found as my hormones have dropped as I’m almost 60, is that because I’ve lost muscle and bone density (we lose a pound of muscle every year starting at 35), I do need more protein. So, I add pea protein to my smoothies.

I love fruit and I eat so much of it. But I do eat a variety of legumes and vegetables too. Grains nuts and seeds, herbs and spices too. But looots of fruit
