Lost GPS Signal Problem on Xiaomi (My Solution)

Please note that this solution worked for me and might not be the same for everyone but I just wanted to put it out there for everyone to know just in case...

A little bit of info on this for better context.
I experienced a problem with my GPS signal out of nowhere one day and just could not figure out how to fix it. I searched YouTube and all over the web to try and see if there was a fix but at the end of the day, I saw that no one else had experienced this problem yet so there was no solution for it also. I avoided resetting my phone because I really didn't want to go through that hassle, but in the end I had no choice ( or so I felt) back to reset. So I caved in and reset my phone, and it seemed to work at first but then once I got into the car and put it on the mount once again, my GPS signal was not working and I heard those dreadful words from Google Assistant saying " GPS signal lost".

It wasn't until recently when I needed to go somewhere and my GPS was working again for a while and I had no idea what the fix was but on this particular day I needed to use it and I especially brought my mount so I could put it on, in my GPS was not working once again. then it clicked I realized maybe it's the magnet from the mount that I was using that was causing my GPS signal to not work, so I tested it by moving it from the mount and sure enough that seems to be the problem all along, so it turns out I never needed to reset my phone in the first place.

So as I said before this solution might not work for everybody but please try this first if you happen to be using a magnet mount before going the route of resetting your phone.

i had the funniest moment ever. ive been trying to figure out why my gps aint working on my xiaomi. its still had the same problem. but it turns out i just need to remove my phone casing then the gps become normal again. lol took me weeks
