The 10 best dressed from the Met Gala 2024 | Bazaar UK

The 2024 Met Gala took place last night, as always on the first Monday of May, which this year was the 6th. The occasion called for guests to dress to the theme of 'The Garden of Time', which is inspired by the J.G. Ballard short story of the same name, while the accompanying exhibition was entitled 'Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion' and features archival pieces of fashion that are too delicate ever to be worn again, 'sleeping beauties'.

From Kendall Jenner in McQueen-era Givenchy to Taylor Russell's unique take on florals, here we round up our 10 favourite looks from the night.

Tyla is definitely a good choice. Well thought out and perfectly executed. Where is Alia Bhatt? Her dress was perfect and on theme. Emma Chamberlain was also on theme and the whole look worked well together. The best dressed are always the ones who are on theme, classic but also avant garde and who have given thought to workmanship of the garment and fashion.

Ok whoever wrote this list- no offense, but did you watch the MET this year? They were certainly way more stunning choices! Zendaya, Tyla, Elle and Taylor are serving but the rest.. no comment. Gorgeous ladies, beautiful creations (certainly not in the top 10 for me).
