In other words, Sake (actually planned as a salmon) was apparently supposed to be used by Kuma in Tekken 3 but was scrapped (Same with the playable character, that was going to be the flopping salmon itself alone). And they gave the salmon to Kuma in Tekken 7.

People upset about the bears are stupid. The bears are part of Tekken,
they add a fun side to the game and kids loves them. Fighting games are
not meant to be just for grown ups, they are meant to everyone. Besides,
everyone knew that one day they would be announced.

Namco where is Eddy, Lei, Bruce, Armor King? Definitely missing these characters. Without them, it is not Tekken.
