So wait: I always thought that this was a “breakup” song? Isn’t it about a guy or girl TOTALLY still in love and just has recently broken up with his girlfriend/boyfriend & thinks 💭 that maybe a “one night stand” will relieve them of all that horrible PAIN that comes along with a new heavy breakup, with someone you TRULY love! Only to realize you’ve just made a huge mistake & the PAIN is MUCH worse than it already was?!?! I’m sure there’s plenty of ADULT’S who have experienced this, just like myself?!?! Sleeping with a person you barely know, let alone LOVE & oh my God, that pain you were feeling? Is now MUCH worse in the morning!!! So much worse! It actually makes you physically 🤒 sick, as if you’re going to vomit! Or is this song about the Cold War from 1947 to 1991 (it was REALLY from 47 to 93 because it took YEARS after the wall came down before people felt comfortable but as a teacher, I’m supposed to say 1947-1991)
