Oh the poor Gypsy <3 Omg the cuteness :D I remember I was talking to several heeler breeders and those who are active in training who told me all (!) that they do not train them to not jump on people since these dogs are anyway getting weird with people, at least the majority. So to train them "people are positive" was my number one rule and yes, those people who want to say hi excititly get told that they might get hugged and with the rest she is actually well behaved on her own. I am pretty happy with that approach.
Lou Lou is always the star when we go to a dog store, because the race is so rare. And of course she also jumps on the counter and gets treats in the end.
I think you managed it well, not asking to much of them in a too stressful environment.

Clea and Gypsy are so sweet, what a lovely outing for them! I've never seen such fancy doggie bikkies before. My boy is obsessed with roo tails, and I try not to think about how much money I've spent on them. :P

I live in WA state and it was pretty hot even for here. One day it got up to 112. For some weird reason that day my Collie wanted to be outside and I was like…really? By the way I have those same leashes! Love them!

We doHome Depot most weekends. Please people you wouldn’t crowd my son or try to step over him so don’t do it to my dog. People appear to be annoyed to even see my dog there. They are allowed to be there even if Karen and Ken doesn’t approve of it. Tuff nuggies bro my dog is trained and goes everywhere I go.

Clea and Gypsy are just the cutest!! My husband and I are picking up are 8 wk old female ACD on 8/20… What kind of treats do you suggest when they’re that young age? I love watching videos of dog owners taking there dogs into the pet store… ❤️
