The Best Voice Control Demo We've Ever Seen for Smart Homes

1. Integrated lighting control with Ketra. If you're familiar with low voltage lighting, or tuneable light, Josh takes it to a whole new level. You're able to give commands by voice to quickly change the lighting and the mood in the room.

2. Once a command is given, the Josh Micro on the wall doubles as a tactile control, you can touch it to dim lights, adjust the volume, and fine-tune the most recent command.

3. Here Josh is also shown controlling Lutron shades. This can be done as a custom scene that you make, or as just a single command.

4. Compound Commands - one of the coolest features of Josh is that you don't have to have a programmer write a 'custom scene' for you to use voice control. You can call out multiple commands in a row to Josh, and Josh is smart enough to execute all those commands. So whatever you're feeling in the moment, Josh can tell your smart home for you.

I think the big thing is the ability to do complex commands. Doesn't say in demo but I think one of the big selling points is the ability to not have "data" collected and stored in cloud. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

Still gimmicky for me, while I will say Josh is superior to all current voice assistance. I want a smart home that will execute things without me saying anything. When I use my voice assistance it should be on a few occasions.
