Spongebob has seen his fair share of controversies over the years, one of many involving his stance on global warming. In a book/short, he expresses the dangers of what could happen to the world if no action is done to stop climate change. Some people weren't happy.

long story short: Spongebob addresses global warming in a way that kids can understand but the people on Fox News have the IQ of a head of lettuce and don't believe in global warming and criticized it for being "not fact based, " yet it very much is
