Marvel's 'Kenner' Retro Line... Best Figures in YEARS!

Is the Hasbro Marvel Legends retro line the best action figure series in years? Here is what I have to say and also what YOU had to tell me!

Man, for years I've whined about the lack of decent-looking 3.75" action figures on store shelves, so when I saw Ice Man (which DOES look awesome), I bought one. I got it home, took it out of the package, and sat it on my desk. Then the next day, I went out and bought a bunch more. These figures look great, feel great, and are fun. I like them. They aren't direct reproductions of something from my childhood, and they aren't new or groundbreaking, but they're fun toys to play with.

Absolutely love this line, especially captain America & Iceman, I'm a huge fan of the clear figures, I'm also a 'cheap ass' if they were $5 I'd be all over those.

I'm hoping for Vulture, Green Goblin, Doc Oc, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Dr. Doom, and Kingpin.

This line also has both ''Green and Grey Hulk''. I'm hoping they will come out with a (Grey Hulk/Joe Fixit) figure at some point.

Yo I just bought the Marvel Kenner Retro 3.75 inch figures of Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil and Elektra this year and I give those action figures a 10 out of 10.100%

I'd collect this line if they made it in 4.5 scale instead of 3.75. Then it would be compatible with Secret Wars and Super Powers. Furthermore, aside from the Star Wars line, 4.5 was the scale that Kenner generally stuck with. In fact, it was Hasbro's purchase of Kenner that caused the Jurassic Park line to shift from 4.5 down to 3.75.

Really dig this line. Nice figures but a bit pricey. Just wanted to recommend the "Final Faction" action figure line. They are really good looking figures and dirt cheap.

Hey Junkman. Love this video about the Kenner Marvel Retro Line. I have started collecting some of them would love to get them all but I am a bit like you prefer them cheap. Here in the UK they sell for £11 or in your $14.96 so you can imagine how expensive that is. So I been buying them of eBay for £6 to £9.

Hey Brother my wife picked up an Armorer figure from Mandalorian. It also has the old Kenner logo. Totally took me back to the 70s! Love it!

4 bucks in 1980 would be $12.50 in 2019 (the before times)
The character and actor licenses were cheaper back then though..

Yep love this line, I'm a DC man but I have love for all the Marvel stuff I grew up with before discovering Neal Adams Batman at the age of 12, this was a time when Mego was still king and although I had both 8" and 12" figures then I never had the smaller figures with the die-cast bodies and plastic limbs and these Kenner figures fit right in there for me, superb!!

I agree with that one comment about Secret Wars. This line does remind me of those. I wish tHasbro would so a legit remake of those.

Iv been collecting these since april 2021 and am still 3 short of the first 24 because of the price £9.99-£11.99 per figure (how can kids buy toys these days I remember paying 0.99p for a Star Wars figure ). It was the packaging that made me want to buy them. Is series 5 out in the states as non have turned up in the uk?.

I'm the same way. I've picked up the silver surfer a couple times and always think I'd rather put it toward something vintage. I really like them though. I think they were only 10 bucks at target. Maybe it was reduced idk.

I really do like how the artwork on the packaging looks. I just don't agree on the price of them. I do think the figures look great. However, I prefer the Hasbro Marvel Universe 3.75 inch figures because they have better articulation.

Static toys are $1 at dollar tree. These should be like $2 based on the amount of plastic used.
