Lankinen and Sasson were MVPs this game, solid all around effort from the boys

In almost every game he plays, Quinn Hughes is the best player on the ice. He is a master at orchestrating rushes out of the defensive zone and in the offensive zone he zipty-doo-daas his way through the defenders always finding lanes for passes and shots on net. With his skills there's no doubt that he could be an elite forward if he was put in that role - but he's so valuable as a defensive "quarterback" I can see why he ended up a defenceman despite his size.

That trade did nothing but good things to Lankinen and that is just awesome! I've always liked him as a goalie but as a person as well. Happy to see him perfoming!

Vancouver truly outworked us, and beat us at our own game. We weren’t nearly physical enough. We have to make it harder on the goaltender with shots from the point, and traffic in front. Not a fan of Greer, Nosek, and Balinskis, to be honest. Our 4th line was so much better last year. Nobody was very good tonight, on to the next one.

Brock’s goal was kinda like the stantion goal half the ppl didnt even know where it was and those who did were out of position. Of course the stantion goal was even more insane cuz i think not a single person on either team except beiksa knew where it was.

Blankinen is a great nickname. Also, these highlights were great to show how freakishly fast-paced this game can be. When looking at Myers, he looks slow. He is not. The others are just so fast... Also, the team that skates the most usually wins.

Lankanin number 1 should be the starter over Demko. He makes it look so easy to get a shutout.
