I'm going to use mine as a gratitude journal as well. I have pretty bad anxiety and I think that taking the time to think about what good thing happened each day will help me to be more positive and less anxious. Thanks for the idea!

I love that hit list idea(but in a good way)! You could write down a persons name, or a stranger and do something simple to show them you care. Thanks so much for the great ideas!

I was never good about recording the more traditional "firsts" but I was very into writing down a sentence or tiny note re: the 1st time we did things, went places, etc. and now that I'm REALLY into paper planning again I'm constantly writing down funny stuff our boys say. This would be a great little gift for a new Mom - share some of these ideas with her, less overwhelming than creating an entire scrapbook/baby book.

You could use it as an exercise journal and record how you worked out each day or if you took a rest day.

I love the idea of doing the vocabulary building. I'm trying to do that for myself. I use just a day per page diary but I think I might incorporate a new word per day or week. Thanks for the tip Kayla! :D
