Poland is gorgeous with its stunning cities, towns, cqstles and a vary varied landscape with mountains, sea, lakes, rivers, a desert and the last remaining part of the primeval forest that once stretched across Europe. Wonderful food, great infrastructure, safety and affordable, too. Highly recommended for a vacation.

Greetings from Scotland! I have several Polish friends who live in Scotland! There are 2 reasons I love them - "Pierogi" (filled dumplings) and "Honey Vodka!" No, I'm joking of course! They are some of the most friendly and generous people I have ever met! If you go there (and I recommend you do) I know that you'll have a fabulous holiday! Oh, and remember the Pierogi & Vodka! I'm Dutch, living in Poland for 9 years so far. It's an absolutely gorgeous country with amazing people. I usually drive between Arnhem and Poznań in about 7, 5-8 hours. It's very doable.
