Crochet Summer Top Pattern /Easy Crochet Summer Top/ Beginner Crochet Top

I'm so excited to get to make a new crochet summer top pattern! I'm betting a lot of people are excited to see an easy crochet summer top as well.

I've designed this one as a beginner crochet top, as are most of my crochet tops for summer. I keep them simple to make, but stylish to wear.

Materials:
Materials
I used about 1,000 yards of Ice yarn Summer #2 sport weight yarn for this top. It almost feels like a #1 fingering weight (keep that in mind), remember to check your gauge!

Notes:
This pattern is made in 2 separate pieces and then sewn together (2 panels are made the same)
This top is worked from the bottom up
This pattern is in multiples of 3 ch
This pattern is a 2 rows repeat (Row 2 and 3)
In this tutorial I have demonstrated with size Small

Gauge blocked: 23 st X 11.5 rows = 4"

Measurements (After blocked)
Size small = 21.04" Width across back X 16.69" Length

Inspired by this, I am making a sm-med. With a 4 mm hook, 1 strand Sugar and Cream, beginning with a 63 chained each, two rectangles. Mine are about 22 in.= length.
