This is very helpful -- thank you! One suggestion...for us noobs, please point out when you are switching what mode you're working in. As I followed along, it took me a long time to realize that Shift +I wasn't bringing up a menu for me because I was still in Edit mode and you had changed to Pose mode. I know that experienced users know which mode they have to be in for certain operations to work, but for beginners like me it can be very confusing!

I have question about one problem which i can`t resolve.
When i have some model from XPS program with existed armature and i want to rebuild this skelet in way which you show or through rigify i can`t,
It show me a problem with bones when i try to parent skelet to mesh with automatic weight.
I deleted everything: old vertex groups, old armature and old modifier. After my manipulations it`s not workilng.
Can you help me?

unreal only supports 1 object withg one Amature how do you deal with that?.

Great tutorial! Learned some things! I found that I can also just parent each eye to the bone that is in them instead of weight painting them. Did anyone else think of this?

Great.. maybe you can also show how to rig for example the ears to flip flap automatically with the animation without manual animating them..

Hey bro! Did u do 'Child Of' for the eyes or you just made the eyes and the body a same mesh by doing CTRL J ?
