And yes, I'm fully aware this isn't an actual gas mask, I'm not stupid. This is purely for aesthetic purposes and just because I think it looks nice.

ALSO: Please please please be careful when making this. The clue (if you use hot glue) will heat up the metal and burn your hand if you aren't careful, and the sharp edges of the cans may cut you. Please try to wear gloves, or just be extra cautious when handling anything sharp like this.

I've made two of them, so here are a few tips!
First, your face will be HOT and it will be SWEATY. Condensation will build up into droplets really fast, and it will be harder to see because of the "filter" parts. You can try doing something to break the bottom of the cans and part of the mask to add more airflow (and make it cooler imo) but the bottoms and tops are the most reinforced parts, and plain scissors/an exacto-knife won't cut it. Honestly a chisel might work.

Second, make the top part where you cut the monster logo in half larger, and then put the other half on the bottom of the mask. Glue them on, and then you can secure a paper mask by folding the ends over, on top of the mask. You'll still need to quarantine the mask after you use it, but it's better than gluing the mask in, imo.

And third, it is REALLY LOUD AND ANNOYING TO CUT THE METAL. I made the first one at like, 3 in the morning cuz I was bored, and I really thought I was going to wake my family up. The metal is also a lot weaker than you'd probably expect, so expect janky cuts.
So yea it's really neat but it does have it's draw backs lol
