Essential oils to avoid if you have ASTHMA

As there is a misconception around essential oils and their potential to reduce or cure asthma, I wanted to make this video to give you an insight into the safety of essential oils whilst providing you with information on which essential oils to avoid if you have asthma.
There have been studies into natural ways to treat asthma and these studies are associated with deep breathing, muscle relaxation and diet.
There are a few essential oils that can trigger asthma attacks, and unfortunately most of the time essential oils should be avoided as they are volatile organic compounds that can irritate the lungs making asthma worse.
The Food and drug administration (FDA) have been issuing warnings to companies who have made false claims.
If you suffer from asthma you should avoid experimenting with any type of essential oils unless directed to do so by a doctor. Whilst it's sad that there isn't enough evidence to support essential oil as a treatment just yet, there might be in the future.
