Car manufacturers need to be just that! Build car and trucks and quit letting the government tell them what WE NEED!

I doubt Ford will ever go out of business. I'm not a Ford guy but It's part of history.

I agree with you about being up front. I never sugar-coated anything. But here are some words of wisdom " Trust will get you killed, love will get you hurt, being real will get you hated." Johnny Cash.

My dad taught me to drive on an old work car he had for his life insurance route. It was an old Bell South 4 door inline six Maverick. That thing ran for years. The choke didn't work so we had to pump it to get it started. 15 pumps in warm weather and 30 when below freezing. It took a talent to feather the pedal so it wouldn't die the first few minutes. It had drum brakes and when pulling our fishing boat, we sometimes just had to pass the boat ramp entrance because we couldn't stop fast enough and turn around and come back. A few times, when mud was at the bottom of the ramp around the tires, we had to get out and push to get it moving and to pull up the ramp. That car just ran and ran. Like a lot of Ford owners, we wished it would have broken down. We prayed it would stop. We wanted it to bite the bullet so we could buy a nice truck, but it just ran and ran for years.
That's the way Ford Motor Company has and always will be. Many want it to go out, but it never will. Good or bad, but Henry and his company is probably the best half assers in the business and improvising for set backs are their specialty.
And I'm not or never have been a Ford lover but tell the truth.

Ok for one thing, we already have self driving trucks on the road making deliveries.

2.7 billion isn’t going to hurt Ford.
They are putting 11 billion into one plant in TN. It’s not that big of a deal. They will come back to it later.
It took over 20 years just to make the first automatic transmission work right.
They will get the self driving cars eventually and it’ll be sooner than you think.

Our 2008 F150 4x4 has 200, 000 miles on it. Driven it from Michigan to Arizona in the fall and spring as snowbirds. Only major problems have been front ball joints from Michigan pot holes.

Totally agree ! Autodrive cannot mix with human driving car at all !

If you made a similar video in 2018 I would totally agree with you.
But since then, I felt Ford has reborn with correct business decisions. Dropping small passenger cars and split the "green" from the major Ford are brilliant.
I predict that Ford will stay longer than Tesla.

I'll stick with my 30-year-old f150 4x4 289 standard shift. I fill her up once every 6 months. Still going strong.

Don't forget the issue with Ford's 2.0L Ecoboost engine that leaks coolant into the cylinder heads. Why this hasn't been addressed yet I don't know. They need to recall these vehicles ASAP.

I had a 1989 Pontiac sunbird 2.0 Turbo. Muncie 5 speed. It lit the tires up through 3rd. That's how I always drove it and it didn't blow until 149, 750. $1700 to completely rebuild myself. I had the identical 1989 Pontiac sunbird 2.0 non Turbo. It got 9 less MPG. Plug all those numbers into a calculator and I'd say turbos are a pretty good thing
