Since the United States began imposing sanctions on Huawei, the issue with its chips has become a significant weakness. Lacking American chip technology, Huawei has had to rely on its self-developed chips, but their recent smartphones have been notoriously difficult to use.

False advertising is a huge problem for China. It really makes you think twice before ordering anything from there.

Don't buy a Chinese Android device unless it can run a custom ROM. I had bought a Lenovo tablet. It was an officially-released model by Lenovo Korea. I discovered that when the tablet starts, it sends the package ID's of all apps that were installed on the tablet to some online server. The ID's included those apps I created myself (using Android Studio), which means that the information can personally-identify me. Collecting personally-identifiable information without the user's consent is unacceptable.

"If I captured it, it's awesome. Does it matter if it's fake or real?"

Wow, that is one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Imagine if the same girl took a selfie and the phone's AI replaced her face with Beyonce or something, would she still say the same thing?

All CCP members should have this phone. These phones would greatly enhance their ability to mis-communicate.

Knowing how manipulative and deceptive that country can be to any outsider, its mind bogglingly scary for privacy if you actually live there.

There is a reason why Huawei’s CEO is buying iPhones for his family 😂

"does it matter if it's fake or real". Explains everything about China in one short sentence 🤣🤪

The woman who bragged that she took a picture of the moon is really something - She went from boasting that her phone could take pictures of the moon to not caring if it's fake or real after the specs of the camera were explained to her in detail. What the hell?

It takes so long to boot up because it is loading all the CPC spyware. That will really slow it down in general.

In China it's all about how things look, it doesn't matter if they're fake, only that they look good.

I experienced fanatical Huawei sympathizers on The China Show, succumbed to the idea that these phones are "way ahead" from Iphone.
This report hopefully will silence them.😊

Where are those million-subscriber reviewers who convinced us that Huawei makes amazing phones?

Samsung does the exact same thing with the fake moon pics, every single phone camera does massive amounts of post processing, Apple included, if they didn't all the pics would suck, it's just how those tiny cameras work

The moral of the story is that normal people that buys Huawei gets scammed.

So ridiculous and transparent. But enlisting an AI to edit or delete possibly troublesome images will not suppress the truth.
Remember when dude got his call cut off because he told his gf, “The lady doth protest too much” twice?
The CCP sure likes the Streisand Effect.

usually when you see a certain brand get an almost unfair amount of advertising compared to other known brands, usually comes off as a red flag for me. like there MUST be something wrong with the product if its getting this much advertisement. like they're trying to do damage control

The CCP is so smart! You pay for the phone and they get to monitor your day-to-day activity without any resistance - Big Brother is watching with your cost.
