How To Get NPC Weapons Glitch Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage

You can easily obtain all the weapons in Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage using a glitch that uses the Gauss Rifle.

0:21 Knock out NPC using a Gauss Rifle
1:15 Search their body and replace with a better weapon
2:16 Knock our the NPC a second time
2:20 Take your desired weapon

This works in the final fight on jingweis shock sword but instead it knocks it out of his hands so you have to pick it up quickly

You wouldn't happen to know if there's a way to get the silenced 10mm pistol from the start of the dlc? the only thing I haven't tried is pickpocketing the weapon into benji's inventory while he climbs the cliffs in the very start of the dlc. Not sure if that would even matter.

Doesn't seem to work on the power armoured soldiers during the jingwei fight...they seem to be immune to pickpocketing regardless...tried to see if I could get a 2nd sim gauss rifle but nope.

Does this not work on the American soldiers? I want assault rifle too, but since you need the sniping class for the sniper, you can’t use the assault rifle. Tried this on a soldier to get the assault rifle but he won’t equipped the sniper, he’ll I even tried on the gauss rifle, just to see if he would equip it, but he doesn’t :/

I wasn't able to recover the weapon I gave the NPCs. It disappears on them. The ammo I give them remains, however. I was able to retrieve the gun I want from the NPC. But not the one I give them
