LOL "Close your robe and follow me." I'm sure an ad-libbed line. Something must've been showing.

I once used the "candle" line in a college course - to much laughter among those who'd seen the film.

Saw this film when released, I was a teenager. For some reason, tonight "Put the candle back" popped into my head. My husband and I shared a laugh, we had both seen it, so many times! Even now, we say "abi-normal " from time to time. "Was this normal? No, it was abi- normal ". We try to avoid this, when physicians ask us health questions. Probably will think us old folks are "abi-normal " if we burst into laughter, and refer to a problem as abi-normal. Such great fun, though the years! Laughter is the best medicine, but we aren't telling our much younger physicians!

I was 8 in "74" wanted to see this so bad. Ended up seeing it in jr. high. Best rerun I ever sneaked into.
