iPad Pro USB C - What Can I Connect to This Thing?

Continuing our deep dive into the brand new, 2018 iPad Pro, we examine one of the most exciting features of this new device: the new USB-C Port. It has uses beyond the old Lightning ports, and also requires some new adapters to make full use out of it.

UPDATE!: since filming this video, some commenters have experienced difficulty even connecting a usb presenter. and i have been able to confirm that none of my usb wirelress presenters work anymore! what's happening?!?

Hi—I tried the Apple HDMI dongle with my Logitech slide advancer, and it did not work. What slide advancer did work for you?

For presentations, use keynote on ipad and iphone and your iphone can be the clicker.. no need for seperate clicker. Take that one stage further and use apple tv to plug into projector and no dongle needed and completely wireless.

For data, look at the DJI/Lacie co pilot hard drive.. awesome! Has its own app.

I like your video, but you are not old enough to have used cordless phones and pulling up the “antenna” to have a conversation in the back yard. IT WAS AMAZING to be able to do that. Us old people thought it was magic to have a cordless phone in the 1980’s.

It's beyond insane that Apple designs products that literally prevents you from accessing your data on an external drive via usb-c port.

I have an Apple SD card reader cable for my old iPad Air. ( lightening) Is there any way I can use that card reader cable with my new 11” iPad Pro 3rd generation that has usb c ? Or would I have to buy a new SD card reader for that specific iPad?
