Map Generalization: For the purpose of this exercise I’ve collapsed 21 Land Use categories into 9 Land Use categories by generalizing them. I’ll talk about my reasoning for doing this and how I approached the map generalization task.

Time Series: The map is formatted to be used as a time series. That means that instead of having separate maps for each year that Land Use was interpreted, we can have a single map that's capable of mapping each year that Land Use was interpreted.
