Josh is not only an amazing artist but he is also an amazing person. Josh was born in Houston grew up a lot in Splendora, TX, Shepherd, TX, and a couple of other places. I’m not gonna put all his stuff out there, but the man can sing with passion and heart because he has been trough tragic hard times. He deals with real monsters and puts it in his music. He is also probably only one of three people that I trust in this world. He is a real friend.

Beautiful traditional country right there...thanks for adding Josh Ward to the channel! Hope you'll be doing more of him in the future, he really has alot for you to pick from. He's has had at least 9 number one hits on the Texas music charts and won the Texas Vocalist of the Year not too long ago. Josh was born in Houston, Tx and after a rough childhood, he rode in the rodeo circuits and even did time in the oilfields. You can't get more authentic and country than that!

My favorite thing about this song is not only the emotion that it brings but also the way he references the late great Keith Whitley. I love how he brings up some of his greatest songs such as "I Never Go Around Mirrors", "I'm No Stranger to the Rain", "I'm Over You", "Birmingham Turnaround", and "Kentucky Bluebird". Keith has been and always will be my favorite musician of all time and I really believe if he hadn't died so young he would have been known as the greatest country singer of all time

I don’t know if you noticed or not but when he says he’s no stranger to the rain in this song well that’s a Keith Withley song that he made famous back in the 80ies

Love his deep, rich, tone! The thing about whiskey, after awhile, it doesn't work anymore! First hand knowledge, it will drag you down & make things worse!

That blew me away. The production was fantastic.
I love the way he Incorporated several Keith Whitley songs into the lyrics. Maybe the fact that I too lived through a similar situation I can relate. I thought the song was awesome.

Love this song. Who hasn't got twisted outta whack in a relationship? You truly havn't lived or loved if you havn't. Hmmmm, so there's an ex-Mrs Don....and she hit the road? She musta been crazy! Glad you found your smile and a reason to move forward again. Keep rockin on Don.

Josh is about as good as it gets. Saw him in a small bar in kansas with his full band. His album Together is one of my favorites of the decade

I like his voice and the music. I kinda wish he would have developed the story a bit more. Just a nugget. I see potential in him!

This i can relate to also. I went through a divorce and it wasnt my choice but it was something I had to do cause to stay together would been whole lot worse than to split. So many songs got me through a 5th or a dozen 5ths and a heartbreak.

You should check out Sundance Head, Close Enough to Walk. Another Texas artist, but a little more blues in his voice.
