I dive into what is Crypto restaking and my top altcoins for the coming restaking wave.

Crypto restaking or programable staking is set to change everything we know about crypto. It's primed to change everything and there are a handful of altcoins that are already building for the coming restaking shift.

Restaking was made popular by Eigen Layer, the team building restaking for Ethereum. Restaking allows projects to build using Ethereums core security, only for much cheaper than they would otherwise.

This allows an innovation boom as more projects, chains, oracles, and apps can deploy faster without having to worry about bootstrapping their own network.

If this all sounds confusing I swear I make it super simple in the video and break down the top altcoins I'm buying to prepare for the coming restaking narrative shift.

I don't just say do your own research as a legal covering but because you really need to do your own research and make your own call. If you don't understand what you're investing in you can lose A LOT of money! Especially in crypto which is super super risky. A lot of the projects I like to jump in are really small crypto projects which make them even more insane risky. Past performance doesn't mean the project will do the same thing in the future, no one can predict the future and what will happen next. I'm pretty passionate about this, I am by no means a professional investor. I'm on my journey to a million dollars, I don't even have the experience to have made a million dollars. All this is to share my journey because I believe there is value in watching me both succeed and fail. It's my story I'm sharing with all of you, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and don't just blindly copy me😄

Also all of this info might be accurate at the time of me recording and posting but in the future things could change. Especially in crypto things change fast, so just be aware of that. Thanks!

I hold investments in the tokens I'm talking about unless I otherwise state I don't. Best just to assume that if I'm talking about it, I own it.

Wanna highlight that Prisma so far has been doing really poorly. I'd be weary of touching it at the moment. The concept is really cool but they've fumbled the ball a bit with their unlocks and recently had an exploit. Might be able to turn it around, but as the saying goes "don't try to catch a falling knife."

Thank you Jesse, you got me into crypto in 2021, with time wonderland though 😂😂. Not the best crypto to start my journey haha but anyway i'm way in the green now and its partly thanks to you. whats confusing me a little is we can only change the withdrawal permission of the staking contract to one address (eigenpod for example). wouldnt this limit the amount of restaking that can be done?

From my understanding the increased risk comes from the fact that you need to correctly validate all blockchains correctly instead of one. However this seems an asymmetric risk, since as long as your node network /operator and hardware are robust and you are not a malicious actor the risk does not seem to be increased compared to just validating a single blockchain. Interesting tech for sure.

But don't validators also generate incom from fees colleccted from token holdens who delegate there tokens to said validator?

So I am a bit of a noob on all this. if I play by the rules that means my restaked eth can not be slashed because it ends up with some dirtbag validator ? Great stuff as always, head spins when I leave your videos...lol
