I see this is a pretty old video, so I wanted to share that this information has been updated and debunked by youtube employees; most notably the guy in charge of the Algorithm. Basically, they ENCOURAGE you to promote your links everywhere you can. It helps the Algorithm build a profile for the kind of people who enjoy your content. Often when I look at my stats I can see plenty of traffic from Facebook, where I have a page for the channel that I post reels and links to. So share away! They WANT us to.

I noticed that when you share a video from YouTube onto Facebook, the viewer has to log in, in order to comment on or like/subscribe to the video. So if people don't have that info memorized, they will just click right back off.

This is so true that Facebook HATES YouTube. If you share your link it suppresses the post and doesn't show it to all your followers and Facebook friends.

That's even if you share the link directly onto Facebook, so right now the only solution I have is if you post the link in the comments of the post not the description.🤔

Yeah, after 10 years of doing that, Facebook banned my account for life.
So had to create a new account

One other thing I noticed, when searching how to get more interactions with my posts (on my personal account) there is literally nothing to be found, you will only find links and articles showing how to boost your PAGE and Adverts but its like Facebook is paying someone to keep people from knowing how to reach more people from a personal account.

Great video. Lately, I cannot send a video from YouTube to facebook. It goes to messenger. I had done this before. It went directly to their page. I do not have my own channel. Have they changed this? Thanks
