This morning I had a little melt down because I want to be closer to God but I keep getting distracted with all these worldly responsibilities, I cried to God and and He brought me to Isaiah 26, the main verse He brought to mind was "You will keep Him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, Because He trusts in You" I believe God is working, if You're His nothing will snatch you from His hand, keep coming back to Him in Jesus name.

Probably my favorite part of the whole song: 1:43 "My Jehovah Shalom"
Shalom means peace through the chaos. It also means authority. It's just so beautiful to think that He is the definition of peace quenching the chaos, and He gives us the authority so that we don't have to bow to earthly things such as anxiety, depression, lust, addiction, etc. Because PEACE is a promise He keeps.
