In today's video I will be reviewing for you the xiaomi Mi TV stick 2020. this very small Android TV running TV stick is going to compete with the Nvidia Shield TV, Nvidia Shield TV pro, as well as the Amazon Fire stick. Priced at 39.99 euros approximately $40 US dollars this is going to be a very good media consumption multimedia Android TV running miTV stick. With a builtin Chromecast this is hard to pass for watching movies on your TV.

For those who complain about not having 4k, this is exactly why there is a mi box

Finally competition is hotting up in the Android TV space. Will be interesting to see what Google will announce later in the year

Yes, I also felt that 1gb ram is less that’s what caught my attention 😂.

Waiting for the rumored 4k version. For now my Tivo(debloated) 4k runs rings around this version of the Mi stick. Another great review sir. Thank you.

I was considering pre-ordering one of these as many new services, such as HBO Max and Peacock don't support Roku or Amazon Fire TV but I can't help think I should wait for the new Google made Android TV dongle coming very soon. It's Google's new take on their Chromecast but with full fledged Android TV running on it with better Google Home integration and for the first time with Chromecast, a remote. The price is comparable as well so it may be worth waiting.

I am mainly using Xiaomi products. I'm on my second Xiaomi phone, I have the latest TV box, and I have a Xiaomi router.

I would love for the Mi TV stick to come out with at least 2gb ram at least. However, for the purpose of using it as a travel accessory, it might be good enough. As for primary application, such as the Mi TV box, I think one needs something with a bit more ram.

Great extensive review though. I might purchase one in the near future.

Very interesting in seeing how the current UI for Android TV has since superseded the Apple TV UI interface in terms of functionality and usability. Some fruit fanboys may beg to differ however.

Nice but I rather get an Amazon Fire TV or 4K stick. It's gonna be faster with more ram and support Vision/Atmos for about the same price.

I don't think that you can power this properly from a usb 2.0 port since it only supports up to 500ma. It's a 5W device, which means it needs 5V at 1A (supplied from the ac adaptor). Just something to think about since many people are complaining about a terribly laggy UI and random crashes which is most likely caused by underpowering the device.

You say it has Bluetooth, can you Bluetooth headphones to it. I am thinking getting this or the TV box s, but Bluetooth headphone support is a must.
