"Money (That's What I Want)" is a 1959 hit single by Barrett Strong for the Tamla label, distributed nationally on Anna Records. The song was written by Tamla founder Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, and became the first hit record for Gordy's Motown enterprise.

Live at the Star Club is a live recording of Jerry Lee Lewis backed by The Nashville Teens playing at the Star-Club, Hamburg, Germany, April 5, 1964. It is regarded by many music journalists as one of the wildest and greatest rock and roll concert albums ever. The album appears in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
Sixteen songs were recorded over two sets, the first set comprising "Down The Line," "You Win Again," "High School Confidential," "Your Cheatin' Heart," "Great Balls of Fire," "What'd I Say (Parts 1 & 2), and "Mean Woman Blues." The second set featured "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Matchbox," "Money," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Lewis Boogie," "Hound Dog," "Long Tall Sally" and "I'm On Fire." ." "Down The Line," omitted on the original LP due to a sound fault at the beginning, was included on later CD editions. The tapes for "You Win Again" and "I'm On Fire" are believed to have been lost.

Jerry Lee Lewis (born September 29, 1935) is an American rock and roll and country music singer-songwriter and pianist. He is known by the nickname "The Killer". An early pioneer of rock and roll music, Lewis had hits in the late 1950s with songs such as "Great Balls of Fire", "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", "Breathless" and "High School Confidential". However, Lewis' rock 'n' roll career faltered in the wake of his marriage to his young cousin. He had little success in the charts following the scandal until his popularity recovered in the late 1960s after he extended his career to country and western music with songs such as "Another Place, Another Time". More country hits soon followed over the late 1960s and through the 1970s. Lewis' successes continued throughout the decade and he embraced his rock 'n' roll past with songs such as a cover of the Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace" and "Rockin' My Life Away". In the 21st century Lewis continues to tour to audiences around the world and still releases new albums. One such new album, titled Last Man Standing, is his best selling to date at over a million copies sold worldwide.
Lewis was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, and his pioneering contribution to the genre has been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. In 2003, Rolling Stone Magazine listed his box set All Killer, No Filler: The Anthology number 242 on their list of "500 greatest albums of all time". In 2004, they ranked him number 24 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. His live album Live at the Star Club, Hamburg is often regarded by many music journalists and fans as one of the wildest and greatest rock and roll concert albums ever. In 2008, he was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame.
Lewis is among the last surviving pioneers of '50s rock 'n' roll music and the last surviving member of Sun Records' Million Dollar Quartet and the Class of '55 album, which altogether included Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley, as well as Lewis himself.

Money (That's What I Want)

Jerry Lee Lewis
Letra
Dinheiro (É Isso Que Eu Quero)
Money (That's What I Want)

As melhores coisas da vida são de graça
Mas você pode deixá-las pros pássaros e as abelhas
Agora me dê dinheiro
É isso que eu quero
É isso que eu quero, é
É isso que eu quero

Seu amor me dá um frio na barriga
Mas seu amor não paga minhas contas
Agora me dê dinheiro
É isso que eu quero
É isso que eu quero, é
É isso que eu quero
Dinheiro não compra tudo, é verdade
O que ele não compra, eu não posso usar
Agora me dê dinheiro
É isso que eu quero
É isso que eu quero, é
É isso que eu quero, uhu
Dinheiro não compra tudo, é verdade
O que ele não compra, eu não posso usar
Agora me dê dinheiro
É isso que eu quero
É isso que eu quero, é
É isso que eu quero

Então agora me dê dinheiro
Muito dinheiro
Uau, é, eu quero ser livre
Oh, muito dinheiro
É isso que eu quero
É isso que eu quero, bem

Agora me dê dinheiro
Uau, é, você precisa de dinheiro
Agora, me dê dinheiro
É isso que eu quero, é
É isso que eu quero, é

Money (That's What I Want)
Jerry Lee Lewis
Letra

Money (That's What I Want)

The best things in life are free
But you can keep them for the birds and bees
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

You're lovin' gives me a thrill
But you're lovin' don't pay my bills
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

Money don't get everything it's true
What it don't get, I can't use
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want, wah
Money don't get everything it's true
What it don't get, I can't use
Now give me money
That's what I want
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want

Well now give me money
A lot of money
Wow, yeah, I wanna be free
Oh lot of money
That's what I want
That's what I want, well
Now give me money
A lot of money
Wow, yeah, you need money
Now, give me money
That's what I want, yeah
That's what I want, yeah
