Worst thing that could ever happen is you get that screen off and back on without damage and your SSD Upgrade is successful and a few weeks or months later, you find out the screen fell off and smashed. It happened to me with one of my clients in 2017.. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN! I did install an SSD on my Late 2013 21.5 inch iMac and it performs Much faster than the slow 5400 RPM HDD. I use it for mainly basic tasks and stuff I need to use in a mac. I opencored macOS Sonoma on it too! It runs it pretty well
