Mattering the location of the fishermen, the animal behind them could be an alligator. It's got the right width and eye shape. Plus, the alligator could easily dive down into the water again and simply disappear. Nonetheless, the fact that a gator could have been behind him without him knowing is a scary fact on its own.

I had something similar happen at a dollar tree. Walking down an aisle by myself a loaf of hotdog buns just does a flip. Not a fall a 360 flip and landed in about the same place. Didn't scare me. It was just strange.

LOL I confess that the first video clip of that box falling off the shelf in that convenience store I didn't even notice it because I was watching the man in the next aisle. I'm laughing at myself because the REASON why I was watching the guy is because I was trying to see if he was shoplifting for he was acting a little furtively... It was a reflexive habit which was a flashback from my past years of retail training and experience in looking for and dealing with shoplifters... I had to rewind the video clip in order to focus in on the supernatural aspect of it! LOL

If that was an Atlantic sturgeon or a Gulf sturgeon, then those boys are the LUCKIEST night fishermen in the world. That looked like an alligator to me, especially in the up close view! Perhaps the only reason it didn’t attack may have been that it already had a bellyful of sturgeon from earlier that night!
