my teacher showed us a video of 911 in middle school and at this point we have learned about it multiple times so we weren't expecting to much, but this time she showed us multiple phone calls while it was happening of people on the hijacked planes and in the building. These phone calls were of people calling their loved ones and saying goodbye for the last time and we could hear their screams when the building either collapsed or the planes crashed into them. Not one person said a word. After the video was over the room was silent for a while after. We were all shooken.

On 9/11, my principal was doing moments of silence. Basically during the times of 9/11, he would get on the intercom and tell us what happened at that exact time. But I blatantly remember I was on my way to my next class and while my principal was on the intercom speaking about the event, Somebody out of the blue said “wait, there was an event today?” and I was seriously just concerned 💀

basically 9/11 there was hijackers got 4 planes and 2 planes crashed in the twin towers the next plane went to the pentagon then the plane crashed in Pennsylvania meaning his dad was the hijacker of one of the planes

People like to make fun of 9/11 until you actually listen to the last phone calls, the 911 pleas from those trapped in the tower, the NORAD control officers who tried desperately to ground flights, the jet who was prepared to shoot down Flight 93, and the reaction of Bush in that classroom. I can't ever make fun of this. Even if I wasn't born yet. So much of how society acts today is because of 9/11. 3, 000 innocent civilians died. Not a laughing matter.
