This also could've depended on a few things. The Grand Vezier of the Ottomans told to the Sultan that Vienna was too beautiful to completely siege it, so they should starve it. Had if the Sultan rejected that idea and went on for a full out siege the battle between the winged hussars and Ottomans would've been far more epic and most likely the Turks conquering Vienna.

The numbers on both sides are remarkably similar to the numbers at the Siege of Constantinople. Except of course for the holy league arriving to save the day.
