honestly, Lyle is a liar and a bully, and Ursula was right about him, Lyle did try to literally kill George, capture Ape, and drag and force Ursula to marry him

When Ursula said that Lyle tried to have Ape capture, I’m surprised he didn’t respond saying “Actually, I was not the one that tried to have Ape capture. Max and Thor were the ones that wanted to capture him to become rich and end up here in Vegas. I actually found out that the reason they agreed to help me find you in the jungle was because they wanted to find the White Ape and capture him. Of course, that was before we found out the White Ape was George. Bottom line is, I was not responsible for what happened to Ape and I am sorry that happened.”

Ursula made the right choice on choosing George not Lyle. George may not be too bright but he’s has a good heart.
