This is quite an improvement over my grandmother's 2019 NX300. I love hers, but HATE the infotainment and I'm glad they're going back to touchscreens.

Could you tell me the name of the opening music track you used in your excellent video?

It looks like the back trunk trays can be removed (9:52) and a spare tire added, even if you had to purchase it yourself...can anyone confirm this?

I test drove one today and I was very surprised to find how loud and harsh the ride was. The last Lexus I drove was a 2022 RX and I didn't realize how much of a difference the NX would be! I'm considering a Genesis GV70 as well and had to drive the NX as it is a direct comparison for the GV70. My conclusion is that there is no comparison between the two - the Genesis is dramatically roomier, quieter, better tech and much better, softer ride. The test drive just helped me rule out the NX.

If I’m honest I like the rave exterior but wish it had the Lexus interior and turbo engine

2022 is the first model year of the all new NX. I think it is TOO EARLY to say "Great reliability". No doubt, Toyota/Lexus makes dependable cars. But NX350 just got a brand new 2.4 turbo engine, brand new infotainment system and digital latch. A lot of first time ever new features add to the new NX. Great reliability? Time will tell.

They really need to have someone who actually uses a car to test drive them for normal use. Can you get the groceries in? See out the rear window? Take the kiddos up skiing?

We borrowed one of these and it is almost unusable when it comes to normal use. You can barely see out the rear window with the rear headrests in and there is almost no room for a run to costco plus it still has the huge blindspot. The rear seat isn't split in the middle so good luck putting skis in or things from Home Depot between the seats. plus it doesn't lay flat. The cargo cover is so high you can't put anything on top of it. Who cares if you can accelerate or corner?

It is all relative; here is what I do not like; car makers including Lexus now pump fake engine noise into the cabin….the idiots. It is whiny, it is sloooow off the line (with this much torque it should be quicker). My biggest beef? The F Sport trim. It has been out for one year and there is still NO tow hitch available from Lexus or any place else. I bought the car because it could tow. 2, 000 lbs according to the Monroney sticker. I call this bait and switch. I am furious and might dump the car if I cannot get the hitch. If you want to tow, get one of the other trims. Better yet, go buy the Genesis GV 70
