The World PVP system was pulled because it felt like it wasn't up to par. PVP will be implemented later on though

I remember Titan Quest had that "rubber-banding" graphics glitch, but you combine that with Diablo 3's lag and you can't ignore it.

To everyone hating on the online-only feature: It's to prevent anyone who wanted to hack the game from being able to, since your character is stored on the server. Other games like this, like Titan Quest, had your character stored offline, and everyone hacked the best items onto their character which made online trading stupid. Blizzard made it so no matter what computer you're on, you'll have your character, as well as ensuring a stable in-game economy.

Cooper wrote the review. Antista voiced it for the video.

Its actually to make you more likely to use the auction house the DRM was a cover
calypsopainting
They expected it to be something more even though they perfectly knew what diablo is, a hack'n'slash rpg in which you mindlessly kill mobs of monsters all the time to get items, so you can be better at killing the before mentioned mobs so you can get better items...I'm not saying that is bad, I mean I had fun with diablo 3, but people think a game like this should be playable forever when it just can't and it's not the quality's fault, but the genre's.

The thing is they don't want people selling super rare, and modded weapons on their real money auction house. Personally I do think the auction house thing for real money was a good idea, pretty greedy really, but I do appreciate the other services they seem to provide. The single player lag I hear about IS pretty lame concept. They shoulda just made single-player campaign be able to be played offline but you can't bring that character into online games or anything
TheRagCo
where did you see it said iowa police?
jameswest
They are not. If you haven't played it though out then you don't know. It is darker in places than d1 and d2.

I played this game after playing tetris and I must say... Diablo III left me missing tetris! LOL

Game looks awsome
I just wish it didn't have always on DRM (it wouldn't bother me but my internet can disconnect for a while at random times which would make it a bitch to make progress and then disconnect and lose that)

Google says its the number to Iowa Police Dept... But I trust you so I'll call anyway

Blizzard may twist the forced online feature into something that benefits us. Of course they'll do that because everyone hates being forced to play online. I'm not a lemming and will not accept being forced to play online a good thing. Don't believe D3 will not be hacked or pirated.
flipfloplogic
it just got hacked recently, quite a few players got their accounts swiped

I far from a pro player and ive beaten the game up to inferno with my barb and my dh so far. Whenever shit gets a bit hard i just buy out some stuff at AH, . sure you got inferno.. but thats all you really got left. if i didnt level alts i would prob have beaten or atleast gotten very close to beaten the game by now.

Edit: didn't mean to say good meant to say bad idea
