I think track limits worked better when they were the kerbs themselves not the white lines on the inside. It meant that taking risks like this could pay off or be a huge mistake.

Lol I do this all the time in real racing 3
I go behind ai and wait for the brake lights to come on
Based on the distance I add just a moment and brake that much later, makes a lot of difference

Hit the brakes at the normal reference point instead of braking like the Red bull did because of trafic. This can be dangerous specially if you want to go at the Apex.
He did the right thing going on the outside but surely wasnt 100% sure about what was going on.
As a pilot i can say that this was a small miss at the begining OP is right, but it was converted with a lot of skills into something good !
