I hunted 3 full $250 dime bank boxes before finding these two silver dimes in the same box!

They are hard to find. I had quite some luck when I first started collecting(found about 10 silver dimes after about a year and a half of digging through cash registers from 2 jobs.) That ended about November 2011, and I haven't found another silver dime until a week ago (today is May 17, 2013 in case anyone's wondering the time span).

Sweet 1954. The other day I was going thru my dads change he collected over the past year looking for wheats and silver. Found a 58 wheat and my first silver and it was a 54 plain.

I don't think so. It was a fresh box I just dumped them out and use the box for the go backs :) and yeah the rolls were all in that clear plastic

I've gone though so many Dimes and haven't found a single silver. Great Find! :)

yeah man I know what you mean, I have only about 5 or 6 after many boxes

just went through a box got a 1946 and a 1949.I usually have good luck with dimes, halves not so much, got 1 40% out of a box last week.I like them clear rolls you don't even have to take the dimes out of the rolls, you can see the silver one's right through the wrapper, make a small slice with a razor blade pop out the silver and slide in a clad, takes no time at all, and best of all no rolling involved.

On October 14 2016 i found a 1964 roosvelt silver dime and about 2 weeks ago i got a 1954 dime from change at the western union
