This is amazing!! I do however have families with a nested void family which it won't work with. Is there a work around for that? My family is an insulation tie for a precast panel.

Hi! Cool script!
I'm trying to cut (or join) a large floor with multiple walls, but I’m unable to select any walls when I attempt it. The tool only allows me to select other elements like doors. Is there a way to make this work for walls?

can help with a script to split all walls and floors in a model using line. All elements will split and separated by lines.

Unfortunately i can't get this to work...I've trying to cut lots of generic models, penetrations through a slab...any ideas as to why it won't run...

Hei Im currently working on a bridge model using revit. When I try to join girder (structural framing) and slab (generic floor) using revit's join default command, the error say 'cant cut joined elements'. Since we have the same geometry (structural framing and floor) and you succeeded using join command, maybe you can help enlighten me what might be the problem is?
