That is true. Happened to me in Basic Training at Fort Benning. Ammo for an M14. Easier if it all was used.

I didn't get far enough to do live ammo turn ins, (thanks MOT) so I did not know that turning in spent and live ammunition had a whole list of concerns attached. But thinking about it the fact that the TURN IN LOCATION has hours in which it is closed just both infuriates me in why that makes sense and the fact that it must work that way
