Rush has created the coolest context for existence on Earth.

The most beautiful bass groove of all!

When I pick up my bass, I run through these awesome riffs to get the juices flowing

Yeah, this is a lot if fun to play.
Working Man was on the to-do list for the month, but this is one I can get into quick. The genius syncopation he counters Neal with keeps me in my toes. As with so much Rush, it sounds a bit simpler before playing it.

You already had me at the intro tap harmonics...

The tabs in the description are so clutch man. I always slow down good covers to 25-50% to learn everything visually. Most posters and not as generous.

Keep it up man

Any dislikes on this video makes absolutely no sense to me. 😅 Perhaps they feel intimidated by such skill and mean tone? Also, the tapped artificial harmonics were the icing on the cake too. Subscribed! 😀👏👏👏

So, where are the tabs? You absolutely kill this.

How the hell are you hitting those harmonics at the beginning?

Now pluck it with just the index finger. Thats how geddy does it lol. He rarely used that middle finger. Very much a one finger bassist as much as possible.

did they take down your Tom Sawyer tab?

I'm not saying this is a bad bass line, it's actually better than the original but this is not what Geddy Lee played.
