Betting was a disease when Donaghy was doing it. Betting continues to be a disease because the league keeps laying in bed with it. It's evolved beyond just annoying these days

On the bright side we caught it early with someone like Jontay (no offense) who plays on the Raps (no offense lol) instead of a well known player

I mean, a LOT of money comes from sponsors and most those sponsors are gambling ones so it it pretty easy for most athletes to just click a couple buttons. It wrong still but, I mean they coming.

Porter is just a convenient fall guy. A nice lone poster-boy for what will undoubtedly become an ongoing issue that multiple players from all tiers are participating in. I honestly believe this will inevitably get so blatant and obviously bad that the feds will just threaten to step in and ban it if the NBA doesn’t.

What could possibly go wrong when you take the most rigged looking sport in history, with an actual documented scandal of referee betting and collusion and add actual sports gambling into the picture? Oh nothing, I’m sure. Just a couple of bench warmers trying to hit their unders. 😂
