I dont think many people appreciate how amazingly mastered this album was for 2006 ... I have so many songs in my library from that era that are some pretty questionable qualities ... but then DIYLF comes on and it just sounds so ... futuristic, with how well you can hear every little detail of the song. ETF gave us a treat when many others were producing/mastering slop and I think that's why it still stands the test of time, even 19 years later!

Jesus Christ, those inhale/exhale screams that are extremely faint in the background of the final chorus, really take the song home. They’re so guttural and dark. Almost like somebody is being strangled or is drowning. Be it literally or metaphorically doesn’t matter in its intent. It just sets the atmosphere of the whole song off perfectly! 💯
