Trevor brought by his beautiful 2001 Mooney Ovation 2, with a gorgeous "1 of 1" paint spec. We flew it from Scottsdale to Payson. It has a sweet G500 glass panel. We cleared through the busy class bravo and had a wonderful day! This brought back good memories flying the Mooney Rocket around Phoenix. Take my girlfriend up in the Bonanza next??

That was so awesome! How fun that was! My girlfriend's first ride with me was in a 152, from Waco, TX (KACT) to Lake Whitney State Park Airport (F50, just a tiny, 2, 000 ft. strip), where we had a sunset picnic on the lake shore. Before it got _too_ dark & we had to leave (no lights on runway) I got on my knee, gave her a ring & asked her to marry me. She said yes.

My dad had a Money Mark 20 in the 60s followed by a Bonanza, Apache and back to a Mooney Mark 21. The Mooney was always my favorite.

I got to fly a Piper Warrior ii when I was 15 1/2 yrs old and I also flew a T-tail glider both were with instructors. Fun fact I did have the option to fly the glider on my own.

Great video! I flew into Payson in October 22. What a great airport with beautiful scenery and nice folks. Food was delicious!

Yeah, Payson has a great airport eatery. Flew in there a couple of times and sometimes gas is less expensive than most other airports, kind of pays for lunch or breakfast.

Great Video guys. Loved your choice of restaurant, . Payson is a laid back small town and a fun visit. Really appreciated your route and the pic of the dam/Lake view a few miles above my house. It's nice to see your subscriber base climbing.

I miss flying much. Last flight in my Bonanza G35 (1956 V-tail) was in 2006 after 12 years of serious, family travel to deliver to its new owner.

Jeffrey man I am stoked as always getting to watch these awesome videos!! The Mooney aircraft are absolutely amazing. I've seen quite a few M-20s before, I also saw a Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules take off from Henry Post Army Airfield located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. If you want I can send you the video I captured along with the pics.😎

I sat in this mooney while touring a hangar in Saskatoon. I was told the owner was in his 80’s at the time. It’s been cool to see Goldfinger online since!

Just landed there last week, and used it part of my cross countries during PPL. Such a fun place to land coming from Flag.

there's a doctor in eastern MT who has a STOL and goes to his remote patients in his plane. he has the passenger side seat taken out and modified a SAR basket to fit in there incase he needs to get some one to higher level care in a hurry and LifeFlight isnt available. So Sasha Air Medical (SAM) is a very real possibility and a much needed service in remote areas of the western states

Flew into Payson with my cousin's hubby back in early/mid 2000's for the same same '$100 hamburger' flight out of Mesa Falcon Field... Although we were in a rental Archer...
