"Glory Box" is a song by English electronic band Portishead, released on 2 January 1995 as the third and final single from their debut album, Dummy (1994). It samples "Ike's Rap II" by Isaac Hayes and peaked at number 13 on the UK Singles Chart.

A song by an English 90's electronic band is usually a long way from my tastes, but Glory Box is a guilty pleasure of mine. Fantastic vocals, a great baseline and a lovely guitar sound are what I like, and yes, the audio is meant to be scratchy, that's how they made it :) I did replace the audio for a lossless Flac version. While it went to #13 in the UK, it didn't do well in Australia with a very poor #96. But I can remember seeing the clip, presumably on Rage so I presume it was poorly marketed here as it also had #12 in France and #12 in Ireland so our loss. The video is a cut down version of the song which is longer. I have also found a great live performance of it that I am going to remaster for my own collection, I will also post it as well tomorrow. As usual - if you are a casual "looker in" of my videos, please go and hit the subscribe button. The thumbs up/like button appreciates being clicked, and the page enjoys comments and the videos like being shared on social media. Cheers, Austech

Um...yea, nah. Thanks for the upload. If I'm not mistaken, they did have another hit?
