NOTE: @12:08, the line "Tomorrow can take care of itself" could also be in reference to Matthew 6:34 (but I doubt it ^_^).

Cyber is based on the Greek word kubernetes (meaning to steer), which was adopted by Norbert Wiener. So k-tactics just means cyber-tactics. The word tactics is most likely specifically used to reference guerilla tactics, which are used in jungle warfare, thus connecting the jungle aspects of Kurtz from Heart of Darkness or the film Apocalypse Now, which further relates to Land's theory.

Never was a fan of identity politics. Ironic, that Edward Said's work led to the development of the field in a lot of ways, despite his disapproval of it. I stick with him when he says:

“No one today is purely one thing. Labels like Indian, or woman, or Muslim, or American are not more than starting-points, which if followed into actual experience for only a moment are quickly left behind. Imperialism consolidated the mixture of cultures and identities on a global scale. But its worst and most paradoxical gift was to allow people to believe that they were only, mainly, exclusively, white, or Black, or Western, or Oriental. Yet just as human beings make their own history, they also make their cultures and ethnic identities. No one can deny the persisting continuities of long traditions, sustained habitations, national languages, and cultural geographies, but there seems no reason except fear and prejudice to keep insisting on their separation and distinctiveness, as if that was all human life was about. Survival in fact is about the connections between things; in Eliot’s phrase, reality cannot be deprived of the 'other echoes [that] inhabit the garden.' It is more rewarding - and more difficult - to think concretely and sympathetically, contrapuntally, about others than only about 'us.' But this also means not trying to rule others, not trying to classify them or put them in hierarchies, above all, not constantly reiterating how 'our' culture or country is number one (or not number one, for that matter).” - Edward Said, Culture and Imperialism

I think 1.343 is in reference to humanity's current point in the Kardashev scale, where we ask the question: "Can what is playing you make it to level 2?". Through the nomos, man may find A.I. reaching level 2 if we lose the Christ-like logos.

I’m so busy running away from the Türing Cops that it’s hard to find time to read up on our fine gentleman Land; so I thank you for your efforts! *doffs hat*

I forget if its here, but Land's reference to a transhuman escort with a bad attitude confused me, any chance i could beggarly request some gender theory or breakdown of that and maybe some other cj cala magic mixed in? Sorry for request (hate making them of creators), feel spoiled with the part 3 dark dlze explanation 😅
