Live in Poland is my favourite live Toto album. Mainly because Joseph Williams kicked major butt with his vocals.

What a voice he has! The new album shows off how powerful his voice has become!

Don't hang out = Don't do enough cocaine that would make even Tony Montana blush.

Interesting info! It would be amazing if Joseph would upload a series of videos demonstrating the vocal exercises he was taught to do. Man, I would love to know what they are so I could start doing them myself. Seriously. Very intrigued!

He’s right that vocal exercises are very important. I studied with Maestro David Kyle who taught many successful singers in Seattle and he told me the same. Smoking and drinking are bad for singers voice. People who know how to properly vocalize can sing well into their older years.

Not enough words to say "Thank You" differently. So, thank you for asking THAT type of vocal questions and for getting deep on it, so that we can get such wonderful answers from Joe! Super interesting :)

Joe really sings solidly and beautifully on his new CD. He's really got it, even at an older age. This is great info.

There is an idiot and useless question I would love to have asked to Joseph but yes, I am really curious:Why he changed his tone so much as the years goes by, back in the 80's he used to have an amazing tone, so soft and elegant and very different too and I was not expecting for him to sing the same way 35 years later but if you look at his solos albuns a briefly after he left the band, his tone was complete different for a point that it doens't look the same singer from The seventh one and for me 80% of his charm as a singer was his smooth tone.😅

Was it Seth Riggs, i wonder. Its say on his website he worked with Toto. Whatever exercises Joe is doing really is working.

I always wondered if Joseph ever met Fergie and his thoughts on him?

I think Joseph is an amazing singer, so I would like to know he s been autotuned o n for example the "With a little help from my friend" session

Great interview! Paul McCartney, at this stage, should probably consider a vocal coach. I’m a big fan, but it’s getting a bit painful to listen to his singing, even though he still writes good stuff.

Very interesting guy; he's a car nut like me--but with a great voice!

That's a bunch of bullshit!! According to Luke in his book, Joe lost his voice from doing way to much blow!! That's why he was kicked out.
