Stella Dallas [Classic Movie Recommendation]

Thank you for stopping by to hear about an old film I recently watched (and LOVED) called Stella Dallas. This film is from 1937 and stars Barbara Stanwyck, John Boles, and Anne Shirley. The film is in black and white, but is so full of depth and emotion, I was moved to tears! I hope you will give it a try if you haven't already!

Young lady great synopsis of a great classic movie that I saw many many years ago. I am an elderly man now but was blown away when first seeing it on TV in the mid 1970s. Barbara Stanwyck should have won an Oscar for her outstanding performance! The entire cast is superb. The movie can be considered a "soap opera" but is genuinely believable and well done. When I first saw it I simply could not forget the ending and yes cried!
