To all the haters & naysayers, especially the interstaters who have complained for years about Victorian bias and MCG home ground advantage, what on earth do you have to say for yourselves now, considering that West Coast, Brisbane & Port Adelaide all bombed out of the finals on their respective home grounds, & by Victorian teams???? You had your own beds to sleep in and your own grounds to play on, you had your chances and it slipped through your hands! Richmond won this flag under the most extraordinary & difficult circumstances, being away from home and under constant criticism by the media and public. A remarkable & amazing achievement by the Tigers, one of the greatest Grand Final achievements in History! It wasn't handed to them, they earned it and the hard way!
