"Desiderata" is a 1927 prose poem by American writer Max Ehrmann. The poem's title loosely translates from Latin as "things desired". The poem's conclusion emphasizes the importance of finding inner peace and maintaining faith in oneself and the universe.

She also had a kitten named Max and I had one named Gracie Grey.
She just died september 24th. One day after our 7 year anniversary of our first date.
She was 26 and one of the most beautiful women you ever saw.
